An immersive adventure for kids, filled with mythical creatures from around the world

At Audacious Immersive’s Junior Monster Hunter Camp, kids become new recruits of The Van Helsing Society, a secret organization of mythological researchers and protectors. Through in-character instruction, international folklore lessons, and daily quests, campers train to approach strange creatures and spooky mysteries with curiosity, compassion, and creative problem-solving.

Kids will investigate clues, solve puzzles, practice improvisation, and work as a team inside an immersive story-world designed by our team of professional theater artists and world-builders.

What makes the Junior Monster Hunter Camp different from other summer theater camps in Denver?

  • Compassion-led monster hunting. Kids learn that “monster hunter” doesn’t mean fear or violence—it means approaching the unknown with empathy, curiosity, and care.

  • Folklore as a doorway to understanding. Missions introduce legendary creatures from cultures around the world, inviting respect, wonder, and thoughtful questions.

  • Choices matter—and teamwork matters more. Recruits solve mysteries, decode clues, and navigate dilemmas together, practicing collaboration, communication, and kind leadership.

  • An immersive setting inside the Van Helsing Society Headquarters. Campers adventure in a richly themed indoor space designed by theatre professionals, setting the stage for every mission and discovery.

The Power of Play

We believe that play is one of the most powerful tools kids have for learning and growth. At camp, we use play as a path to collaboration, bold creativity, and joyful exploration.
