What to know
What exactly is the Beasts & Wonders Gala Ball?
A four-hour immersive fantasy celebration filled with live music, aerial and circus performances, mythical creature encounters, dancing, food, drinks, vendors, and interactive surprises throughout the building.
Do I need to be into immersive theater to enjoy this?
Not at all. You can interact with characters and creatures, investigate the world, and follow the story—or simply dress up, watch the performances, have a drink, dance, and enjoy the party. Participation is always optional.
What does my ticket include?
Full-evening admission includes all performances and immersive entertainment, sweet and savory bites, and one complimentary beverage.
Do I have to wear a costume?
No—but this is a night to dress up. Formalwear, cocktail attire, gothic and fantasy fashion, costumes, and other imaginative looks are all welcome.
Is this actually a ball, or is it a show?
Both. There will be scheduled performances and larger theatrical moments, but you’ll also have plenty of time to dance, explore, meet creatures, browse vendors, eat, drink, and make the evening your own.
What age is this event for?
The Beasts and Wonders Ball Gala Ball is primarily designed as an evening event for adults and older teens. Younger guests may attend according to parental discretion, but families looking specifically for a children’s Van Helsing Society experience may find our Mythological Petting Zoo and other family programming a better fit
