About The Show
Mother Goose was a famous storyteller. But she only had one child of her own - his name was Featherbottom! Now, his adopted children are carrying on the family tale-telling tradition. They are sharing his stories far and wide in a one-of-a-kind performance filled with whimsical puppets and family-friendly action!
You and your little one can play along with Finnian and Florian, our magical storytellers. They joyfully invite your children to participate in five light-hearted tales. These original stories feature 21st Century morals and messages such as:
-
Self-reliance
-
Consent
-
Emotional intelligence
-
Power of honesty
-
Teamwork
Children of all ages are welcome to take part! Your family will get to meet our favorite puppet friends, such as Mr. Caterpillar, the Goblin Prince, and even a dragon!
Performances can happen indoors or outdoors. If you attend an outdoor performance, be sure to bring blankets and/or chairs for seating and sun protection (hats, sunblock, umbrellas, etc). You'll be able choose your own spot on a first-come, first served basis.
The Runtime for Father Featherbottom's Forgotten Fairytales is approximately 45 minutes.
