Woodlands and Wyverns: Traitors at Badler’s Door is a legally-distinct, comedic parody of Dungeons and Dragons where YOU control the adventure!

You and your fellow audience members will make choices for your character:

  • Directing them on how to Behave and React to the fantastical elements around them!

  • Roll for them in Combat!

  • Decide whether or not to Reveal their hidden Secret!

Choose to play as one of five characters

  • The Bard

  • The Barbarian

  • The Cleric

  • The Sorcerer

  • The Wizard

There are Strange goings on in the city of Badler’s Door, and only your Champions can reveal the truth!

Immerse yourself in the Magical World of Faeroth, and use RPG game elements to control and interact with your character. How you guide your character will determine the success of their quest - will you lead them to Success and Glory, or Death and Despair?
The choice is yours!

You’ll find jokes and spins on all your favorite fantasy worlds from books, movies, and video games.

Watch out for Dire Hedgehogs, not-so-stealthy assassins, and patrolling guards who used to be adventurers like you (until they took an arrow to the elbow).

Eat, play, and be merry with your colorful band of motley heroes on your quest to save Badler’s Door!

What do you mean by “Immersive”?

At Audacious Immersive, you help shape the story — but only if you want to. Our adventures follow an “opt-in” interaction model: you're welcome to make choices, talk to characters, and steer the tale… or simply sit back and observe the mayhem. Either way, physical contact with performers is discouraged (we like our heroes and villains upright and unbruised).

How long is the adventure?

The story unfolds based on the choices you (and your fellow adventurers) make. Most quests last around 2 hours from opening encounter to final victory (or hilarious disaster).

Is this appropriate for kids?

Generally yes! The show includes some crude humor, silly fantasy violence, flashing lights, and loud noises — think “PG-rated Dungeons & Dragons movie night.” If your kids are comfortable with mild fantasy peril and the occasional goblin joke, they’ll likely have a great time.

Is the venue accessible?

Yes! The entire venue is wheelchair accessible, and most of the show takes place while seated. If you or a party member require any additional accommodations, please email us at info@audacioustheatre.com and we’ll work our hardest to make sure your adventure is smooth.

What should I wear?

Yessss. You are asking the right questions. Wear whatever you feel comfortable in, especially if you're comfortable in your Ren Faire, Cottagecore, Fantasy-World-Worthy outfits. If you'd like to show some team spirit, each of our characters has a signature color you can match:

  • The Bard - Purple

  • The Barbarian - Yellow

  • The Cleric - White (and Silver)

  • The Sorcerer - Orange

  • The Wizard - Blue

How does seating work?

We offer multiple ticket types:

  • Choose Your Character (Reserved): Choose your adventuring role in advance and secure your spot at that character’s table.

  • General Adventurer (Early Wyvern or Regular): Choose from the remaining characters when you arrive.

  • Family & Group Bundles: Bring your full adventuring party and sit together (with a discount!)

Can I book for a group?

Absolutely! We offer Family Packs and Adventuring Party bundles for groups. If you’re planning a larger gathering, birthday quest, or guild outing, email us — we can help.

What if my plans change?

Life happens (even outside of fantasy realms). Tickets are fully refundable, up to 48 hours before your showtime. Just send us an email (info@audaciousimmersive.com). If you need to cancel with less than 48 hours notice, we will do our best to accommodate a reschedule. If not, we can offer a voucher you can use on any of our remaining shows for the season.

Are food and drinks available?

We'll have themed drinks and snacks available at "The Tavern" for purchase. Please do not bring any outside food.

Is this like Dungeons & Dragons?

Kind of — but with less dice rolling on your part. Our show is inspired by tabletop roleplaying and choose-your-own-adventure stories, but the performers handle the heavy rules-lifting while you make choices and shape the outcomes. No prior gaming experience is required!
